            RMC Gunupur was established in the year 1961 to promote trade and marketing of agricultural goods. Since then, it has been rendering a yeoman’s services to the farmers and entrepreneurs of the area. It’s hard work, sincerity, timely wholehearted services to the peasants and traders bring innumerable laurels to it. Being strengthened by its success from times to time became the pioneer in the state as a whole for creating facilities for marketing of agricultural produce, which is an example for others to follow.

• Our Vision is to grow farmers, buyers and sellers by the mobilization of resources
• Our Mission is to eradicate the malpractices in the markets.
• Our Goal is to provide transparent, efficient, hassle free, sale purchase, storage  & Processing of agricultural produce.

OUR ACTIVITIES

• To enforce the Orissa Agriculture Produce Market Act 1961.

• To issue and renew licenses.

• To provide paddy pledge to the nominal and marginal farmers.

• To prescribe market charges and regulate market practices relating to sale and purchase of agricultural produce.

• It has started Mandi for Paddy and Cotton to prevent from distress sale in all the Blocks of the Sub-division.

OUR COMMITMENTS 

To provide all possible marketing assistance to the farmers of Gunupur Sub-Division of Orissa. And to ensure producers, sellers and purchasers faith in fairness and transparency in the functioning of the Market Committee.
